P1: lotr The Two Towers

·

Hi! Ready for another Lord of the Rings post?! I am! These ones are pretty fun to do. I am going to be splitting it in two parts again 🙂 let’s get started.

The next movie I will be doing it on is The Two Towers. I have to think back a little so I apologize if my writing isn’t exactly accurate but I think it’s all good

Alright, so this movie, Pippin (YAYYY the best character!) and Merry get sort of lost into a forest because they’d been prisoners and escaped. And this is gonna sound kind of weird, haha, but they hang out with some trees basically.

Meanwhile, Aragorn, Legolas and a few others are trying to find Pippin and Merry! They end up fighting a battle along the way; Aragorn ends up falling off a cliff and then they find him again.

The group makes their way to a town where the king isn’t doing so well. He is dying under his evil advisor; as he dies, his kingdom does as well.

A few new characters join in on the group in this movie. A young women, daughter of the king, named Eowyn comes in. Also a young man named Faramir who I LOVE also is in this movie.

They both made good editions even if I don’t love Eowyn.

She’s a good fighter as is Faramir. Eowyn is brave as well.

Anyways, Pippin and Merry are with the talking trees. They convince them that they should help with defeating part of Sauron’s army.

The trees end up actually being really helpful and together, they wipe out a factory of orcs.

One of the reasons the trees helped was because the orcs had been cutting down trees. But now hundreds had been defeated.

The place, now covered in water, but now free of evil orcs, Pippin and Merry stay there. They’re content being there probably because there’s lots of food, haha.

Meanwhile, Sam and Frodo and Gollum (a creepy little used-to-be hobbit) are taken captive by a young man I mentioned earlier, Faramir.

Lots of stuff happens but I’m gonna stop there, haha. You really should just go watch it! And if you’ve already seen it then I hope you’re enjoying this.

I did really like Two Towers! I think it was very interesting and humorous.

I liked Faramir a lot but I don’t really like Eowyn which is sorta ironic haha. But they both will probably end up being in my next post with the character analysis.

Anyways, two towers was good but I don’t think it was my favorite. Although I am getting a little mixed up with all the movies.

But from what I remember -which is a lot – it was enjoyable to watch. Plus it had one of my favorite quotes ever in it by Sam. I actually have already put it in one of my posts but I’ll put it in again.

Actually I’ll do a few but not all are from Two Towers.

So those are two of my favorite quotes – both J.R.R Tolkien. Two Towers was a beautiful story and I like to linger on the loyalty and friendship of parts of it. Even though there is some betrayal in it, too.

Thank you so much for reading and I hope that this post was enjoyable to read! Keep a look out for the next ones to come!
