Mr. Legality

Pilgrim’s Progress! This is another assignment on my thoughts on the Mr. Legality section. Hope you like it!

Basically when Christian got to the part where Mr. Worldly Wiseman directed him, he found his burden was getting heavier and the mountain seemed to be stretching and hanging over.

Then, when Christian realized this wasn’t helping, Evangelist came. Christian was embarrassed and ashamed. Evangelist of course, asked him why he was here.

Christian explained and Evangelist told him about the Scriptures and what The Lord had said. Christian continued on his way.

my thoughts

That was a long chapter! Well, more like a lot of words in one paragraph each. But it was a good one. Evangelist is such a good friend and guide that is constantly helping Christian getting back on course if not leading him away from things that might tempt Christian.

Having someone like that in your life is really important! A friend or mentor to help you grow your faith in Christ Jesus and guide you away from worldly things; comfort you when you go through troubles and firmly help you get back up.

But we have to actually play the part. Our leaders and friends can only do so much. You have to pick yourself up again. It doesn’t matter if a friend repeats it millions and millions of times. WE have to do it. WE have to trust God through everything.

God is with us through everything, don’t forget! I hope you enjoyed this post and the posts to come!
