Hey what’s up you guys! This post is gonna be so fun 😀 Today I will be posting on my all time favorite show: Avatar Last Airbender!

About

Avatar Last Airbender (atla or ATLA for short) has been my favorite show for like the past 6 years or so.

Let me get this clear; it’s the ANIMATED EPISODIC Atla not the realistic one. You probably can tell because of the front photo, heh.

Anyway, to give you the idea of what it’s about, it’s about how the Avatar (master of all four elements and bridge between the spirit world and the “normal” world) and he goes missing in the middle of the war.

Which, the war is between the four nations:

  • Fire Nation (filled with Fire benders and then non benders)
  • Water Nation(filled with Water benders and then non benders)
  • Earth Nation (filled with Earth benders and non benders)
  • Air Nation (filled with Air benders and non benders)

100 years later, the war is still going and the Air Nation was basically destroyed by the Fire Nation. Well The Avatar – who gets reincarnated after the next one dies – gets discovered by two Water Tribe teens sister and brother Katara and Sokka.

Katara is a water bender and Sokka is a non bender. I love Sokka and Katara is okay. They discover the Avatar that appears 12 years (but is TECHNICALLY 112). He’s an air bender and HE’S THE BEST in my opinion. I LOVE HIM. His name is Aang.

Aang, Katara, and Sokka start on a journey to help Aang master all four elements like he’s supposed to. They go on so many funny adventures and highs and lows. They also get a bunch of other chaarcters added to their group who are awesome.

I’m not gonna get into it but that’s just a little sneak peek of what it’s about.

Favorite Characters

AANG

Aang is my all time favorite!!! Here are some words that I think describe him:

  • funny
  • tiny
  • loyal
  • gentle/sweet
  • peacemaker
  • carefree
  • skilled and brave

Aang also loves his animals: a skybison named Appa, and a flying lemur named Momo. Those two are awesome as well. Aang loves his friends as well and is very protective of them (he’s also protective of Appa and Momo).

Aang tries to see the best in everyone and isn’t always someone who enjoys fighting. He’s fun and free and the best Avatar!!

SOKKA

Sokka is so funnyyyyyy! Here’s a few things that describe him in my opinion:

  • sarcastic
  • funny
  • a warrior
  • brave
  • bossy

I think those are PRETTY accurate. And of all the atla fans I’ve seen – none of them does not like Sokka.

Without Sokka it just wouldn’t be funny or as exciting because most of the time, even if he isn’t in the main part, he is in the back of the scene, on fire, screaming or something.

Although he is funny, he isn’t clueless. He is very impressive and a good fighter. Though he is a non bender, he doesn’t lack too much skill and trains hard. He also can be very serious at times.

But yeah, Sokka awesome!

TOPH

Toph!!! Oh man, she’s… she’s just so great. Love her. Here’s the list!

  • blind
  • tough
  • short
  • sarcastic
  • best earth bender
  • passionate

LOL this is so accurate to me!! Toph is Aang’s earth bending instructor (and friend). Even though she’s the same age as him, shorter, she is very very skilled.

Toph is apart of Team Avatar which includes: Sokka, Aang, Katara, and (SPOILER!) eventually Zuko.

Toph is very passionate and tough. Though she is blind, she sort of sees the world through earth bending and it is really cool. She’s super impressive and very funny.

She sort of reminds me of a girl version of Sokka. Anyway, she’s awesome and super great!!
