Authors Apology (John Bunyan)

·

Hey guys, today is another assignment! For school today I had to read the Authors Apology by John Bunyan that is nine sections long, actually. And so this post is going to be my thoughts about it.

It had a lot of heart in it and I think it’s very cool that John Bunyan took a lot of time to write it out for others.

It was interesting how each section was very in-depth and seemed like it took a lot of thought.

If you like poetry and old language you’ll love it!

It was just really long and was kind of complicated language for me with lots of thys, thous, and other old words.

It was a little bit confusing to understand (even though it was very impressive).

“Art thou for something rare and profitable? Wouldest thou see a truth within a fable? Art thou forgetful?”

-John Bunyan Authors Apology

like that quote.

It was the following:

  • impressive
  • long
  • depth
  • maybe worth reading at least one section
  • historic : )
